Tip - 5 Minutes to Feeling Good

5 minute fix Organizing doesn’t always have to be a huge day long production. I’m sure we’ve all learned through the podcasts that getting organized is an ongoing process, you don’t have to be perfect just keep at it.

If your clutter is keeping you up a night, we suggest taking FIVE! That’s right… take 5 minutes right now and clean up ONE cupboard in your kitchen, or one drawer in your dresser. One space, Five minutes…easy peasy. Now go set the timer, and don’t get sucked into doing more. This is your five minute fix then pat yourself on the back and do something else, enjoy your family, read an extra book to the kiddos, take a bubble bath, and be proud.

My five minute fix will be this basement. I want to make room to set up a desk. It might be a 65 minute fix but that’s ok because the kids are sleeping.

My under the sink fix is done and I felt so happy finishing something! I’m working on a bigger project today (my kids toyroom), but I want to fit in another 5 minute fix in my closet today just picking up and tidying.

I may not be perfect, but I know I can do 5 mins!! :)

I’m happy to report that I completed my five minute fix. My basement is now a great place to be. Clutter cleared and so much space to enjoy! It was a 65 minute job but SO worth it. Now to paint the bathroom…..
