I think it is so easy to think that kids are too young to help but then when do they start helping? If they are old enough to get the toys out they should be old enough to put them back. Age appropriate jobs is perfect. I know I have been to slack in this department because the other say I asked my son to put the books back on the shelf and he said- no you do it mommy.
