Show #2 - Let’s Get Going!
Maja walks us through the process of getting started. Before you do anything grab that camera and snap some pics of the clutter before you touch it, you’ll thank her later!
Then Maja gets down to business with Goal Setting - this is KEY. Grab a pen and follow her instructions to create a clear picture of your organizational desires.
Answer in detail:
-How I want to be organized (be specific….BE SPECIFIC)
-How you’re going to feel when you’re organized
-How your life is going to change once you are organized
Lastly, Maja touches on routines and how they really allow you freedom and fulfillment. We’ll be looking at your week in detail to see what you need to do, and take stock. Write it down. You’ll soon be scheduling time for YOU!

Good call on the photos. It is amazing what you forget. I guess it is easy to forget messy rooms and clutter.

Okay Maja! I can do this. I’ve got some goals written down. Following through on organizing the closets will probably have to wait until next week… unless I get cracking this afternoon. I like the idea of a schedule! I’ve tried to do one. It’s a little loosey goosey… thorough clean of the bathroom and kitchen on Monday or Tuesday, light bathroom clean on Thursday or Friday, dusting and vacuuming on Thursday or Friday and laundry on Tuesday or Wednesday. One thing I try to live by (thus far unsuccessfully) is leaving a room better than I left it. And cleaning up after myself to rid my life of clutter. There’s so much to do! I can do it though!
